Privacy Policy

LedgerDesk is a desktop application for managing invoices, receipts, clients, payments, services, and related business records. This policy explains how the application handles information.

Information stored by LedgerDesk

LedgerDesk stores the business information you enter, including client contact details, invoice and receipt content, payment records, service entries, preferences, and any business logo you choose to import. This information is stored on your device.

No account or mandatory cloud service

LedgerDesk does not require an account and does not provide mandatory cloud synchronization. Your billing records are not uploaded to IAM_DEV as part of normal application use.

Files and exports

When you create PDFs, backups, or data exports, LedgerDesk writes those files to a location you select or to its local application data area. If you later share an exported file, that sharing is controlled by you and by the service you use to send it.

External links and support

LedgerDesk opens Microsoft Store pages, this website, or your email application only when you choose the corresponding action. If you contact support, your email provider processes the message and IAM_DEV receives the information you include.

Diagnostics and analytics

LedgerDesk does not include advertising trackers or usage analytics. Local diagnostic logs may be created on your device to help identify application errors; they are not automatically transmitted to IAM_DEV.

Data control and deletion

You control your records through the application and the local files it creates. Backups and exported documents are separate copies and must be deleted separately if you no longer want them.

Security and responsibility

Because records are stored locally, the security of your device, operating-system account, and backups affects the security of your LedgerDesk data. Keep appropriate device protections and maintain backups suitable for your business.

Changes

This policy may be updated when LedgerDesk’s behavior changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
